Control modules NCD

The control module provides power to the field equipment and converts the received signal into measured parameter values, as well as data processing and transmission over established communication lines.

The modules are compatible with various sensors with standardized output signal current or voltage. To convert signals from sensors to the signal perceived by the monitoring module, an appropriate signal adapter is installed on the module board.

Module Modifications:

NCD 01хх – module of the control of parameters of vibration of supports. The module determines the instantaneous vibration acceleration value, calculates the amplitude and magnitude of the vibration parameters, performs a harmonic analysis of the FFT, calculates the RMS in the frequency bands 10...1000Hz and 10...25Hz, and processes data in accordance with specified algorithms.

NCD 02хх – module for controlling the vibration of the rotor. The module determines the instantaneous value of vibration displacement, calculates the range of vibration displacement, performs a harmonic analysis of the FFT, calculates the RMS in the frequency bands 10...1000Hz and 10...25Hz, and processes data in accordance with specified algorithms.

NCD 03хх – module for controlling the bending/beating of the rotor. The instantaneous value of the vibration displacement is determined in the module, the amplitude (at frequencies below 600rpm) and the range of vibration displacement (at frequencies above 600rpm) are calculated, and the data is compared with the settings.

NCD 04хх – module for monitoring the rotor speed. In the module, the frequency of passing the labels per unit of time is determined, the obtained value is compared with the settings and the state of the unit is determined (stationary, transient, rotor).

NCD 05хх – universal control module. The module is used to measure the parameters of mechanical quantities, such as axial rotor displacement, relative expansion of the rotor, thermal expansion of the shells, the angle of inclination of supporting structures, and also can be used to monitor the turbine's active power, supply voltage and other parameters.

The control modules of various modifications are interchangeable if you change the settings of the configuration file of the firmware in the upper level.

Settings, hysteresis and alarm time delay are set in the top-level software.

Additional features:

  •    Data transmission on the 4...20mA line (option);
  •    Outputs "dry contacts" from 1 to 4 (option).

Logic modules NCL

The logic module provides a collection of signals "alarm" events from the modules of control, performs logical processing of data in accordance with predetermined algorithms and issues commands to the external alarm or Executive devices of protection.

Module Modifications:

NCL 3000 - universal logic module performs logical processing of the data from the monitoring modules (up to 96 modules) in accordance with predetermined algorithms.

NCL 2003 - logic module executes processing of the data from the 3 redundant control modules according to the scheme 2оо3 ensuring high reliability transfer function of signal protection by duplication of the functional circuit elements.

Relay functions (algorithms) and the addresses of the control modules from which a signal can be changed in the upper-level software (only for module logic NCL 3000).
